I am a PhD candidate in quantitative ecology in the Leung Lab at McGill University. My research focuses mainly on outbreaks of forest insects and their population dynamics. In particular, I’m interested in how low-density populations transition into large-scale outbreaks. I combine statistical modelling, long-term population data, and ecological theory to understand the dynamics underlying these processes.
